Trendy Gallery is proud to present “The Call I Missed”, a solo exhibition by “Wisut Ponnimit” that invites you to “tune in” to the voices within his paintings and animations.
We experience light and dark, joy and sorrow.
We judge right from wrong, like from hate.
But both ends of the spectrum are really just stops on the same road.
We get stuck in sadness when we could just as easily choose joy.
We cling to what we like when it’s okay to have a love-hate relationship.
We’re stuck on songs from just one era, even though we have music from every genre and decade right at our fingertips in a single player.
The middle ground between two opposite rooms is the door that lets us roam freely.
Our hearts are that door, giving us the chance to explore every shade of emotion without getting bogged down by just one.
The trembling center is the gateway, letting us fine-tune to any frequency.
This exhibition invites viewers to walk through that door, listen to the heartbeat at the center, and meet in a space that lets us make sense of every color of feeling—both ours and others’.
