New surprise!! “POP-UP POP ART”, the most popular art exhibition of the year, starting today at Icon Siam.

TRENDY GALLERY and ICONSIAM have joined hands to create a ‘Wow’ experience to shake up the art world. They welcome the new era with the launch of “POP-UP POP ART”, an art exhibition that collects pop art works of top and emerging artists of the industry to be on display for everyone to take pleasure in

The highlight of this exhibition is ORIGI bronze edition, Line Censor’s latest collection of limited-edition sculptures – Kiatanan, a top-form artist who interestingly reflects the crystallization of creativity in his early art work until the present. It is followed by The Light and The Darkness, the first sculpture in Thailand by Gongkan – Kantapon Metheekul, a famous artist who talks about a new journey through a unique black hole. This is due to his experience of the dark and the light, causing him to discover that there is beauty in the darkness. And most importantly, there will be paintings that are the prototypes of this sculpture series in which no one has ever seen before. Such paintings will be exhibited for everyone to see only in this event as well.

And for anyone who missed out on FINGY BOY, a classic cartoon character sculpture with a face in the shape of a mischievous hand “Fingies”, the identity of the hot artist 2Choey that is a rare work worth collecting. The exhibit will end with the launch of DAYY first painting – Jiraphas Charoenporn, a talented rising star artist who presents a love story that is unsatisfactory. However, he is able to present a beautiful perspective through a pop art form, fun art tones, and bright colors that combine his unique realistic painting techniques that are impressive.

And in addition to having special artwork from the 4 artists to choose from for collection, another final highlight of this exhibition is to showcase a rare piece of art by leading street artist Alex Face, depicting Mardi in fur and deer antlers sticking out of her head. Created with the technique of spraying on wood by Alex Face 8 years ago, this real piece of work will be on display to delight his fans as well.
