SUNTUR
“Picking out until only what is important remains” is the definition of art at this time of Yozanun Wutigonsombutkul or SUNTUR.
The love between him and art began when he was in elementary school. However, another fact that is equally fascinating about him is “Storytelling”. He is a person who likes to tell stories through both pictures and letters. With this personal qualification, he chose to study according to his aptitude by enrolling in the Department of Visual Communication Design. He blended perfectly with the program and has worked as a copywriter at an advertising agency. While pursuing his main career, he still hasn’t given up on drawing which is what he loves. He has combined his unceasingly acquired skills in drawing and storytelling to the point that he is a full-fledged artist today.
He often tells stories around him, both big and small, in the form of pictures with names that convey what he wants. His work of art focuses on trying to select only the essential parts of those stories. As a result, the work has quite a lot of space. Various elements are allocated to fit the stories of such pictures, allowing space for interpretation, openness, and non-judgment.
